Without changing out the new lower guard that may be the go. So is it easier to re build the guard taller or change the axle config?

I had a thought until I took a closer look at your photos as my guards on the 16ft full size millard have a ton of room 50mm wouldn't make too much of a difference your guards are very short from floor level where 50mm could make a big difference . though another way around it would be to cut and bent to shape of bottom of guard 50 mm high channel so you can place it under new guard to to raise it or 50mm rectangle light steel tube welded to the shape of bottom of guard . Which ever way you decide to go I hope goes easy for you
have fun and stay safe Bruce

Well got the bed head done and starting to put the tops on , but did a major stuff up Bed was suppose to be 740 wide and i took advice to make the edge of the bed strait instead of being on an angle , which meant it would be 740 wide , instead ive made the bed 640 wide , so im stuck with it
