G'day Peter,
If the rubber seal is OK why not try cutting the mesh out, then clean the seal up then insert new mesh by applying a smear of silicone, leave to dry then reinstall.
I have done this before and happy with the result. Camec sell new ones but are expensive.
Cheers Bob.

Your windows are wind out? I was able to use 5mm rubber core straight to the frame, like you would with a house screen door.

Hi Mustang You wouldnt have any pics would you , im having a bit of trouble picturing what your saying and yes mine wind out Ours had a similar rubber framed insect mesh like yours, I guess this is the reverse if you have a frame like this: You lay the mesh over the frame & lock into place with the 5mm piping.

Thanks for putting that up, sorry i got confused about the rubber So if i was to do it your way , the piping would be on the inside of the window also my window closes against the rubber on fly screen

The frame rubber sits against the aluminium frame, not the screen, hence the rubbing you can see on the outside frame. There should be plenty of clearance between the insect screen & the frame when it is closed. If you can fit your screens this way, they are cheap.

I spent a whole day re-doing the screens because I pulled them too tight & the frames were out of shape.

I used pine slats with ply on the sides:
