I see you are running HT rims. Our van has HT also, looked at an upgrade but for 150kg @ lots of $ we figured it was an over capitalization. Any way we weighed in at 1360kg fully packed, first trip proved no problems with bearings.

Well designed, I like the wheel holder very simple, I guess the other side attachment is for a box? Is the jockey wheel up for re-placement.

Heres the finished look, still another coat to go on , and yes the other side is for the generator box The top of the pole is for the gas reg ,as i was told by a gas fitter the the reg has to be above the gas bottle There was that much paint on the hitch that i had to sand blast it and the brake Assembly as well

Now you have come this far (excellent prep) I would pop loose the power inlet/ water/fridge cover, rather than mask them in place. They are usually screwed, the result after painting is more pleasing.

Should look great Peter. I googled up your area & Fantastic Furniture, Clark Rubber & Bunnings have it, Bunnings cheapest. $29pm
If you have clean etched ally then epoxy will give best stick... until impact damage that will crack the bond! Good ol contact adhesive, check that you use onefriendly with the matt. ( The solvent used does not eat through just amalganises the wet area during the glue process.)
You can also use any of those great acrylic sealer type products BUT apply too thick and it will not dry properly plus you will need to clamp the matt while curing plus no real way apart from smoothing every few minutes/ hours to stop bubbles as you are fighting gravity.
