Long long time since I posted anything on this thread. So thought I'd give another update. Going back a couple of years now. There was a soft spot in the pantry wall. Water had found it's way in and rotted it out. So Decided to glass it up. All the info is in the fibreglassing thread. fibreglassing thread The link is also at the bottom of my signature. But what isn't there is the latest update. Our son has been using the Olympic as his bedroom and study area for a year now. We noticed that the blinds were a bit mouldy. The wood attracts mould in the van. So it was decided some time ago to remove all the blinds. They have now been replaced with window tint. The darkest available. It works very very well. During the day you see nothing and at night it is still very dark, though you can see into the van if we use the main lights. Having the small LED's on only and you see nothing inside. Another little problem fixed. Atog

Hey atog
Glad to see the Olympic is being put to good use, even if it is not on the back of your toy being dragged around the country side. Its to nice a van to be sitting there unloved and unused.

Thanks BobT Mate I had to laugh. My Missus got the boss of this tinting business to quote on doing all the windows. When the blokes came out to do the tinting they questioned if it was 6 windows or the lot. I said "We got a quote for the lot" So they did all the windows. They questioned it because it was about half the price ($300) it should have been. Seems the boss was too busy ogling the wife's cleavage to get the quote right. Have to send her to get more quotes on stuff. Atog

Love it. I think I can guess who is going to do all the future negotiation work.

Quick question. Are these photos still visible to everyone else, or just me?

Hey there atog. I can see the pics. Have you been out enjoying it? Hey bobt Mate we did use it a couple of yrs ago when we went on a trip to Victoria hunting work in Sale. But since we have been going more on simple camping. Car and gear only. Gets me to places I couldn't go with the van. Thanks for the responses gents. I haven't been on photobucket in many months and wasn't sure what they were doing regarding my photos. youtu.be/JEcSt0sqbscyoutu.be/NY6BvU93JZgCheers Atog

Interesting videos. Like the water view. Were you on your own? By the way... your younger than me It was a boys week camping. So just a mate and myself. The video up the ridge was out the back of another friends place. Spend a couple of days there as well. Got the itch to go camping again real soon. The weather has been glorious in Cairns for months. There are lots of nice spots in your backyard. We will get back there in the not too distant future.
