The old kamper we had had 12inch rims stud pattern unknown the stock rims where in fairly good condition but that is not to say that at some stage your brake hubs may have been changed.retired john is right it not only happens on vans years ago I had a ford with a holden spare just lucky I was at home when it was needed.

Your fridge has been moved from its original position I couldn't find any pic's of outside where it is now but it needs vents to expel heat and the carbon monoxide gas to the outside if I remember correctly mustang has a explanation and pic's of how to correctly install fridge. the old girl is looking good.

To flue kit a 90ltr fridge is not mandatory, but i bothered to flue ours to an external vent, well worth the trouble. There is still noticeable heat, but not as bad.

went and got some black out curtains for the beds found some for 12 bucks thought you beauty got home opened them and only 1 curtain in each pack i assumed you got a set but nope lol anyways ended up buying two more same colour but didnt have same pattern no biggy so 48 bucks for curtains to each bed isnt to bad as they were 60 percent off they are a little long but i will just shorten them and use the cut offs to put some pockets in them for a little more storage room ie phone keys etc she is starting to look the part now just want to put a draw in under the lounge seat near the door and that should be it for the interior until ive used it a few times and maybe decide a few things need changing will be using it at easter going to start at murray downs and work our way down the murray to yarrawonga if any1 knows of any good free/cheap spots to set up i am open to suggestions

not bad a bad price for a plug and play setup just have a large fuse close to the battery on a short enough lead it can't wear between fuse and terminal. I brought separate parts probably will work out close to what you paid only difference will be I am going to use a re-settable fuse. the Kampa is looking good

Doing one up, starting to look good however how does the canvas fit when roof down? I have tried and tried, even read somewhere that there was a nac to folding the canvas when lowered but no matter how hard I try I can not see how you collapse the canvas between the roof inner and the scissor lift bars. I am looking at Velcro as an option. Only on both front and rear as the sides can stay on with no interference. This means I can remove the front and back and quickly put it on when setting up. I have looked and looked for any original instructions but long gone I suppose. Can anyone enlighten me.

On my 71 kampa you just push the canvas from the beds inside and sort of goes around the scissor lift bars I guess where the scissor meets in the middle. Make sure the bed rods have been folded in first though. Here is a pic of mine. Just redid the sides and new floor and recovered the cushions. It was my parents and I have fond memories camping as a kid.

Can anyone enlighten me. to be honest I cant answer that as the canvas was off when we brought it and the person who work on it put sail rails all the way around and we have to take the canvas on and off its not hard to do and hopefully the canvas will last a little longer this way as we can fold it up and place inside

We are going to us a column oil heater have tried it out works well in insulated van but the best thing it has very little chance of burning van to ground doesn't eat the oxygen only downside it is a little heavy compared to ceramic heaters that I have seen burst into smoke twice lucky to have been there and ripped cord out of wall.

attaching it to the ceiling you may find you get handy with the needle and thread putting stitches in heads every time some-one belts their head on it. They did cram a lot into a very small space when they built them. maybe a ceramic heater will do alright on stove when not in use just make sure it is unplugged when you are asleep or out of van should be fine.
