I got my 140w panel from the same people I've bought from them also, but not solar. I've bought quite a few LED light bars (small) from them.

Ctek stuff has a great reputation. I reckon that charger/controller will be excellent.

I am impressed with this set up and considering the cost of the batteries IMO this is the way to go. I would make it easy removable form the van just in case that we in the future go for a bigger van with ensuite. Have to talk with the minister of finances to have all ready for next year CTEK D250S Dual and SMARTPASS ReviewThere are more interesting videos here: Self Build Camper

At the present set up I have the 36kg battery under the dinette seat on the LHS of the door and about 1.2 m in front of the axle. I am thinking in taking the battery from there and put it on a plastic commando type of box with the regulator, battery charger, etc to make it portable together with the future portable solar panels. The problem is where to relocate the battery box without upsetting the ball weight which cannot be over 120 kg. Ideally will be to bolt it on the draw bar. Will be practical to have the box over the axle when travelling and then move it to the front under the dinette table when on camping site? I need inspiration....

If you use an Anderson plug to connect the battery to the system, you can stick it anywhere you want while travelling to get the balance right. Do you need the power on for the fridge when travelling? If so, make up a jumper lead with Anderson plugs on both ends, so you can keep the power on. It would only take a minute to shift it when you get to site.

With the CTEK D250S Dual and SMARTPASS and input and output Anderson plugs in the box it will be easy to do that.
