Over the last few months there seems to be a lot more talk about frankin vans than there was earlier in the year. More people buying, more selling, and more renovating.
Has anyone done the stats or worked out what the most common make of van is on the forum? Maybe we could do a poll if one hasnt been done previously... Initially I would have though Viscount would be the most common but am beginning to think its Viscount and Franklin are up there now.

I got a Franklin as i liked the shape of the rear roof to windows & roll under, and it was the thing that ebay said congrats you won, with my skinny budget & bidding.

I've had 9 vans since the early 70s and my Franklin has to be the best shape of all of them.

I have never owned a Franklin.. but I did own a Viscount once got a millard but ya cannot count that as it has not grown up yet...
The commandering chief and I have just got back home after 3 months on the road. Might share some pics when I get them sorted. Saw lots of Franklins on blocks in caravan parks saw a number of Viscounts on the road...
Saw a couple of really BIG modern boxes a couple with 3 axles., they would have struggled getting into some of the caravan parks we stayed in.
so we now have.. Viscount 6 Millard 5 Franklin 1
(Hey Mustang Thanks for starting the count)

Lets make it official - I added the poll on behalf of awbeattie381, please remember this is for Classic Caravans between 1st Jan 1970 and 31st Dec 1979 OK. Also you must still own the caravan at the time of voting too.

Millard all the way, totally bias because I own one, and previously a millard starcraft motorhome. Second choice would be arrow because my brother did his time there but millard is the go!
