since the producer is mostly an automobile enthusiast, i thought this thread the best to put here. Q: on the title page, the caravan has braces which appear to go to the towbar. is this a stabilizing component, or would it over time compromise the structural integrity of the caravan? thanks youtu.be/f2ToDjhQGdk?si=IgyMZ8jyDND-sQzt

Hi Tom, The bars used between the caravan drawbar and the side of the tow vehicle towball are for stability. Never heard of them compromising the van. Our Walden has 4x bars & they certainly settle the van on an undulating surface. Cheers Mustang

i'm still struggling with what components or construction methods allow "flex" (for lack of a better word) and which ones provide enough or not too much strength.
