Hi All,
I've just purchased an onsite van on the NSW south coast. The original interior had mostly been renovated in 1996 (if the newspaper under the vinyl is anything to go by).
The main wardrobe and overhead cupboards throughout are as original, but I have now removed these. Inside the plywood joinery is written
The van is 24ft long without the drawbar, which has been removed. It had a bedroom at each end with concertina doors.
The van is attached to a sandwich panel annex. The previous owner cut out the window beside the forward door and installed it on the opposite side. The rear door remains intact.
I'm planning to redo the bedrooms and kitchen in the van. Annex will be used for living and cooking will generally be outdoors.
Can anyone shed light on what model van I have? I can post photos, but the door and window configuration won't be much help as there have been changes.
Also have the following questions:
1. Did the original vinyl flooring contain asbestos? 2. Best way to remove original vinyl flooring? ... seems to be glued down everywhere. Glue is not water soluble. 3. Best insurers for older onsite vans?
Thanks in advance,
Cheers
Nige'
