The windows in our 12/1970 Viscount Ambassador have the following stays:    One is broken. Is this a universal type item or specific to these vans? Any recommendations on where to find a replacement unit? |

Hello, My Viscount, 1980s van has a similar style latch for the front window cover. One is missing.
Did you locate any of these latches?

After finding an alternative name ie Shade Stays I found some on the E Bay site but seemed a tad expensive.
But I also found them available in 3 sizes from the Caravan sales, repairs, storage place located on the Pacific Highway at Nabiac NSW. Also used to sell fuel many years ago before 2015. The shade stay prices seemed competitive so next time I'm heading south I'll pick some up. They have a website for contact details.
