Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows what the old table fitting is called that allowed the table to swing down from up, to the bed position ? I call it a 'swing arm', but I can't find any references to it. I'm looking to buy one, or even manufacture one if need be. It has just been so many years since I saw one up close, I can't remember what the other fittings are like that I assume would be sold in the set ? I think I located something that might work, which has a 'tongue' that slips into a bracket. So I'm thinking 2 of those at the top and at the bottom position and then just a rod something like this (?) _|Íž |_ held in place with saddles to the table and the wall. Anyway, I thought I'd run it by the forum. Cheers Ped
PS. Now I'm not going to admit that I have caught the 'bug', but I bought a jayco classique camper trailer, as well as the York I own. One is for my wife and us to go touring in, and the other is ideal to take the kids camping (more beds, better for offroad etc). I now have 2 reno's in progress lol

G'day ped,
I'm sure the York experts on this forum will give you more useful info, but in the meantime have a look at this "Table Hinge Kit" from Vintage Trailer Supply in the USA. The 1976 Millard poptop I restored a few years ago had a similar set-up to this...
cheers, Al.

Hi Al, thanks a bunch mate. That's exactly what I was looking for.
I'll probably make one myself as I expect it will be expensive to get one from the US.
Then again, maybe not.

I have recently dealt with this firm, their postage rates are very fair, you can obtain a quote without committing to an order. You may be able to use something else from them also. Alternatively I sometimes import from the USA through www.myus.com also very good. Good Luck
