Happy Sunday to all. Just wondering if someone could help me out with model and dimensions of the 3 way fridge and stove that was originally in the 1969 Viscount Ambassador Alum. Our chassis is E9526. We are wanting to get this old girl as close to original as possible so any help would be greatly appreciated. Hereโs a few pics for admiration.๐ PS: We pick her up this week PPS: I did post the other day about purchasing a 1972 Viscount but changed my mind when I found this gem for $2k!! Cheaper and less work. Cheers link link link link

Looks in great condition! Regarding the fridge, chances are it was a 2 way - 240 volt and gas, not a 3 way. It probably looked just like the one I sold from mine last week - I can get photos of it for you but it is spoken for sorry.

Ok, a few pics. As you can see my kitchen is nearly identical to yours. My van is a 71. The fridge in there now is an Engel and the reasons for fitting it are in my thread. I hope to make it look less obtrusive when I have time as the front panel can be replaced. The original stuck out about 80mm as well, they are quite deep. 7A720449-3204-4522-B3EF-1DB88485DA26 by Gavin Gregory, on Flickr BCE8E4A1-E2B2-4193-80D0-AAB53E61F5FB by Gavin Gregory, on Flickr As mentioned, this one is spoken for but they are around - most of these were all very similar. What area are you from - I'm guessing much further north based on those palm trees... ๐

If you are more north than south, as we are, I would only entertain a new fridge or a late model s/h. The old 3x way struggle in the heat.
We have just purchased a modern with a 3x way & the difference in new technology is amazing. You are still keeping your van original, just some items are seriously outdated for modern day usage.
Nice pickup there.
I noticed Snoops' van still has the original vent back to the interior. With a recent gas check the gas guy suggested I seal all vents back to the interior of the van.

We have a fairly modern 3way It is abut 8 to 10 years old got it second hand and cheaper as it was on a boat. It work excellent set at about a quarter forty plus deg it happily sits at 4 deg most of the time it is running at minus 3 deg this is on 240volt on gas I have to turn it down just a fraction. These are usually larger than the old ones but buy the right size and carefully enlarge the hole it shouldn't look too out of place change the front panel to match it should look less out of place. mustang has a thread somewhere on venting the fridge
