Do you have a fire evacuation plan?
This is the view over our back fence from a couple of weeks ago:
Too close to our shed that recently housed 3x vans & a classic car:
While I was at Leyburn Sprints my wife had to evacuate under police order, thank God for firefighters.
The strong message was "we had no fire plan", we have now.
Nothing we could have done about the fireball that was estimated at seven story's high heading our way under 40/70knots of wind, but what can you carry & what is important to you, photos, passports, important documents, jewellery??? it must be ready to grab & run.
We were oh so lucky.
