The Brisbane Shot Show is always well attended & bargains galore. This year I bought a 12v dual strip light & finally a portable panel 160w panel from Hard Kore link
Just $79.00 Switch between Orange or White, magnets on the back Comes with a dimmer: The fold up mat, apparently you are able to walk on it?? Just $590.00 Connections include Anderson, Battery clips & extension cable, the regulator can be fixed or loose, we will use between vans. Any one thinking of solar, I believe Hard Kore are a reasonable quality & price. Cheers

Heck, are you saying that the whole kit and kaboodle you bought was just $79, or only the light bar was that price?? Darn good value if you got the lot for just $79. A couple of months ago, I got one of those Aldi kits with four LED lights (50cms each light) and all the connections/wiring, for $56 off the clearance table. Was less than half the original price of $129. I see these same sort of kits in other camping catalogues at prices up around $149 or slightly higher, so I figured I got a pretty good bargain. Haven't actually used it yet, but I've seen other vans in parks with this type of set-up under the roll-out awning, and they seem to give off pretty good light. I guess the downside to having these "extras" is that it's just one more thing to pack up when it's time to hit the road. cheers, Al.

Hi Al, Update: the light was $79.00, the panel $590.00, I figure the fold up is better than our original two house type panels that weighed a ton.

(I managed to make a mis-leading statement) The current marketing trend seems to be advertise the postage & handling fee, then negotiate the rest when folks order!
