Some now know that i started a resto/rebuild job on a 1963 Series 2a. Initially had a long wheel base with rusted out chassis and firewall, but got a beautiful little shorty with hardly any rust! So like my wife always say, i, now obsessed with this project lol. If you are interested in following my progress, just check out my vids on my channelThe aim is to build with my son (he is a little young right now) and get it registered in about 2 or so years. The I have a trip in mind, nothing concrete yet but a trip of huge proportions.... travel up and through the Savannah Way road and back through the centre. I figured if the Leyland boys could do a mammoth trip, so can we on the series. There is already other series owners interested so may have a convoy creating traffic chaos on the hwys

Just a quick update, made progress on the Series... painted chassis and diffs, now working on leaf springs and front hubs. Its all time really which is sometimes hard to find!
