All good stories need pictures. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well I started writing a tale about my car trailer then realized I needed to add some pictures, this sort of sent me off into another direction.
So I tried 'Rattles' suggestion and posted a picture. The key thing running thru my head was is this just a link like photobucket will it use up data on our forum, we don't have any.. I give you a tip it is way easier..
Now that I have ripped the floor off and we have welded some new bits in (when I say 'We', its me watching my son, he knows his stuff and has the gear). All I need is some pictures.. Now why didn't I take progress photos.. dammm

Facebook as per Rattles suggestion Noooo Bobt, I've resisted for years the faceplant requests and demands from friends, familes, relos and clubs. Sooner or later I'll probably have to give in, but I'm not there yet. |

Facebook is handy, I have been using it for years to keep in contact with friends n family |

I have been happily on FB since 2004, then the current version since 2007, on my 2nd alias as in 2015 they rejected my used common public name of then 16 years (ffs). So i am now named after youngest daughters bearded dragon, this helps sort out who gets your info, i remember my first in the post box American Express invitation for atefooterz, via yahoo or my space near the end of 2000!
FB is great for remote family & friends, keep any specifcs off it, if ranting/ venting is your thing then twitter is for you.
The thing to remember is currently if you googled your screen name here then many posts & pics would come up public for all, facebook not so much. So if folks are linking FB pics then in a few months it will be interesting to see if the pro board starts promoting your content as the real or FB you or your CC screen name or both. #spiderbotmania

Last week a cousin was involved in a horror smash in the US, he is badly injured his new wife was killed.
The parents now by his side have found FB a godsend to keep family & friends informed.
For what we do the forum is way in front, no clutter.

Everything has a use forums and facebook. I use facebook predominantly to keep in contact with family and friends.
By the way. The trailer has progressed a little, now it has to wait till we return.
