I have also just got a hy-king bit of work to do Photo taken at time of pickup If interested can post repairs as I am involved in two rebuilds atm mine and a full gut and rebuild including a/c hot water 11 interior lights and a host of other things Somewhere I saw the advertisement for Hy-king on a forum but cannot seem to find it again found it ditzygypsy.proboards.com/thread/3736/hy-king-caravans

Hello Karen The floor in mine was chip board and the water proofing was missing in places if your is the same allow to replace the floor Check for water damage where the pop meet the van on the corners as water can get in where the roof sheets over lap all four lower corners where chassis meets walls for water damage have a lot of photos of repairs and where to look Regards John

Hello Karen I am uploading photo atm What area is the water damage on your van as I may have already done that area on mine As I have already done the following: new door rebuilt step replaced the timber around the pop top replaced 3 windows 2 rear 1 front removed water damage around front windows replaced brakes wheel bearings wheels and tyres front spare to take 14" wheels brake line on axle master cylinder got it registered now doing stabilisers floor cabinets cutting rear access door built new door new wiring still a bit to do but getting there john

Replaced all the wood around the roof and repainted Draw bar roof wheels and tyres bearing and brakes

Excellent work. So simple to know the weight of the door for your struts. When some one comes up & says they haven't seen that model before, you know it looks good.
The plainness of the panel lends itself to a tasteful mural?

Thanks I like the look of the door Just can't screw the number plate to it ATM but it has to happen as can not think of alternative location
