Sliding bench top rail

Hi there. New to this. Our sliding bench rail (not sure what it's called) that slides the bencH top away from the stove top is not working too well and would like to get a new one. It's for an 1979 Franklin. Does anyone now if there available still. Thank you Al

Hi Al,
Remove all the offending pieces, the bench top & rail etc, so you can estimate the damage, sounds like the rail could be worn out.
