It is nice to start with a clean canvas after the demolition that you have done. I am looking forward for the future post. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Dave Welcome to our Classic Caravans forum. I have posted some images on your behalf. The forum fosters vans from 1970 to 1980, & we welcome all comers interested in Classics. Good to see you have started your own thread in the “Hall of Fame”, there you can post images from a third party such as Photobucket, Tinypic, Flickr etc. You are almost there with Photobucket, have a read of the link, if you have any problems I can help you re-size & post your images. Our sister forum Vintage Vans (1970 & earlier) have many duel members looking in, so ask any info about your project. Cheers Brent (Forum Mod)

Thanks guys, much appreciated, both the welcome and tips and advice. Brent I'm still wrangling with photobucket but won't give up! 😀 Have since continued with the destruct with removing all the old wall linings, floor tiles, overhead cupboards and lounge. Will start on ceiling then insulation. In the process of also attending to the brakes. Popping in new jap bearings and drums and probably a cable as well. Whether it needs it or not at least I'll know it's all done properly. I really should get a proper action plan in place! Cheers Dave

welcome millardm38945 looks like you have a very good van to start with in pics ceiling looks like it is leak free as the roof has timber joists this is a good thing. There is a lot of info on here if you can't find it just ask some one will most likely be able to point you in the right direction. looking forward to seeing your van resurrected. ps: while you have the wheel off you may want to look at changing center bolt and grease-able shackle bolt and nut mine are 9/16 yours are most likely the same but measure first also u bolts just for piece of mind. The center bolt may look good at top and bottom but the middle you can't see may only have a small bit of metal left the rest rusted away over time this job isn't too expensive to do now but could cost a motza if it happens to break while you are on the road.
