Are they brown anodized sliding windows? Remove the windows and be careful not to damage the plastic moulding around the inside ledge, scrape of all old sealant (probably white silicone?), refit windows with new sealant...fixed! That's what I did. If the ply is badly damaged and the laminations are separating it may need replacing. New sheets can be purchased starting from $10ea. If it's only stained then it can be painted. I would imagine that your late 80's Viscount caravan has sandwich panel walls. Replacing ply lining on sandwich panel can be a world of pain! Not exactly a classic caravan so you may be better off finding advice on the Viscount Caravan Owners facebook page. Cheers, Arthur

Hi Rfamilystore, Most vans of the modern era are similar in construction, the sliding bunk windows are usually the smallest so this is a good place to start. Manufacturers like to assemble quickly without mess so its likely the frames may have been sealed with tape. There is an on going discussion here between Silicone (very hard to remove) & Mastic based products (easy to remove). Sealants linkI personally sealed our Viscount with ribbon mastic tape. Viscount window seal linkAs advised above do not try & seal the leak without removing the frame, otherwise it will continually leak with only a butt seal. We are Classic 1970 to 1980 but feel free to join us. Good Luck & come back with any questions. Cheers Brent
