Hi Hutch There really is very little information on the web relating to these vans. This site and www.vintagecaravans.com are the only two real sources of information. So few of your van still exist that it is unlikely you will find anything on them. The aluminium vans were made before the manufacturers went into fibreglass Olympics. So to date it .... pre 1962. Boblor will be able to help you more on that side of things.. I encourage you to join vintagecaravans.proboards.com/ that site is all things Australian caravans pre 1970. This is the sister site relating to vans from 1970 onward. Your restoration of the van would be of great interest to forum members there. Are you trying to do a true to original restoration or just bring her back to a useable van? Atog

Well this nice tandem Olympic came up for sale on Gumtree in southern Tassie yesterday On sale for a few hours before it was snaffled up by some lucky person . Only had a chance to download one photo . I thought the asking price was $4,000 or $5000 I would have paid that and used as a garden ornament Presume it is 1970's Sure another glass aficionado can fill us in on model etc (This image on file under Olympic in Museum Section) Mod.

Thank you for posting Murray. Proves good buys are still available in each state, you just have to be on the blocks early. This one looks exceptional on the outside.
