G'day kiwijim, The link you've given is to your total album. We can click on that link and see all the photos in that album. If you want to post the photos on this forum, you have to do them one-by-one. Each photo has a "Share Photo" arrow down in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Click on that arrow and a pop-up box appears on the screen. Click on the 'BBCode' heading in the pop-up box, and then copy and paste that BBCode link into your forum post. The first photo in your album is this one... cheers, Al.

kiwijim, I meant to add in my post above that when you are sick of tearing your hair out with Flickr, try Postimage instead. A number of us have come to the conclusion that Postimage is easier to use than Flickr. The trick with Postimage is to make sure you create a new album for each different topic, otherwise you have to go hunting through all your photos for the one(s) you want to post.
If you want to stay with Flickr, but don't want your actual name appearing next to each photo you post, you can change your displayed name as per the following instructions from Don Ricardo on the Vintage forum:
To preserve your online anonymity, you can change your Flickr account name to whatever you want it to be in the Flickr website by going to Settings > Account Settings > Personal Information and looking for the 'Profile' box. There you can change your Flickr account name to your forum handle (name) or whatever you want it to be to preserve your privacy.
cheers, Al.

Hi Al, Thank you for the story, not sure how they justify $4K ?? Could be the "girl learns tradition thing?" Most art knife creators in the USA barley get that with knives adorned in 18ct gold. I use top steels, hand finish, and every knife is different but struggle to get $169.00? linkThe 10 ton press is a must, otherwise you spend all day at the forge, a young girl just could not apply the energy needed to commercially make knives by hand hammering the pattern. Cheers brent Yeah, not sure whos paying that sort of money for something like that. Maybe a hand forged knife from a Japanese Master craftsman who's been practicing the trade for 50 years....

Looky what turned up today - It's brilliant and my god is it sharp! Even my Son - who is a Butcher - said it was very sharp even by his standards. Hopefully won't lose a finger to it, but looking forward to giving it a workout in the kitchen. Big thanks to Mustang who held this for me over Chrissy until I rememberd to pay for it... π C6FEADCB-1D64-4590-9859-1F3260AD4809 by Gavin Gregory, on Flickr Anyone in the market for a top quality blade that is different from the run of the mill stuff should give him a call. π

PM Mustang right here on the forum, he's the seller. I believe he's on Ebay as 'littlemountaintraders1' as well. Knife is awesome, I've using it every day prepping tea, but I don't let SWMBO use it, she does nasty thinks to knives...

Thank you Snoops, Plastic & bamboo cutting boards are a knife's enemy, good old fashioned timber are best.

That's a website (not the ebay store) I used to visit on a regular basis, hadn't joined the dots that it was Mustang. I'm tempted also to buy one. I have a thing for knives, similar to SWMBO's thing for handbags.

S E Qld is an interesting place to live, having spent 40 years in Tassy this recent rain dispels any pangs to get out of the heat, & go back to the wet. We traded 300 days of rain (NW Coast) for 300 days of sunshine & I love it , although she gets beat up when the heat is constantly over 30 degrees. Just makes getting out on the bike dangerous when its wet & we ride on slicks. I hate seeing the bar in brown, it turns green when you are in front, my target this year is 6000km. Show us your hobbies. Cheers

It was a great event - over 900 Land Rovers (Including mine) ππ
There is talk of a 75th but it will depend on who wants to put their hand up to organise it - a huge effort was put in by the Cooma Car Club this year but not sure if they are looking to do it again so soon.
Hopefully someone will, I'll be back for sure. π

Back to cycling to keep fit & enjoy the bunch I ride with. I'm the weakest rider at 67 yo so I get dropped a few times in a session, sometimes they wait up, other times I cut off a bit of real estate & meet up later. Gets one out of bed at 4am three days a week .
