To neat, need a good splash of death insects on the front of the van. It is a show piece mate, something to be proud of. It will no doubt get dirty this coming weekend when we go to Rathdowney rain is predicted for all the days so the Z'd will stay home in the shed and we will tow with her indoors Honda CRV bad enough getting the van dirty and wet but not the Z

Very nice. You've gone to a lot more trouble painting and mounting the spats on yours. I used a paintbrush like I did on the rest of the van. Great work.

excuse me while i pick my jaw up off the desk and mop up the drool puddle. Your van is gorgeous and its shocking it had never been used until you got hold of it. Cooped up in a shed all that time? amazing. Like someone else said it should probably be in a museum. Great to see it out and about very impressive

Beautiful rig. My family came to Australia in a Zephyr MKII, on board a ship of course!
Anyone know where I can the Window Weather Rubbers (aka dust seal) for an Ambassador or Valiant Alumvan?

What year or do you know the window types? Caravans plus have a good range of spares going back to the 70’s as does Vintage Caravan Spares.

1964 Viscount Valiant Alumvan as per my photo.
I tried Caravan Plus and no go. I visited Vintage Caravan Spares website and no go there either.

Just for the record , the Mustang is not yet towing. Your van is incredible, there would be few like it on the road, love that key. I'm installing the same type of water tank but it didn't come with the breather fitting. It looks to be a short white plastic elbow pipe on yours. Is that what it is? What's to stop insects climbing into it and the tank?

It is an elbow as I have the same tanks as this van to stop insects out a hose goes up to the inlet that has gauze in it.
