Absolutely beautiful, both rigs. Damn between you and Mustang, you both got impeccable vans! Thanks but mine does not have the "bling " of Vincent because I am too lazy to go through the whole polishing routine just washed with wash'n'wax so far even the stickers are the factory original ones , this van probably should have been bought and put in a museum but as it is it will be well cared for and get the required TLC . At the moment it is getting the full underside clean and rust proof treatment just the metal the floor looks brand new as it should the water tank imploded when we tried to fill it so a new tank with better brackets also being done as part of the undersides revamp also considering a swap to a new set of 10" electric brakes and just flip over the reversing catch so the Aframe looks standard . The suspension axle etc is all stripped out sand blasted and ready to be painted and put back together so slowly everything is coming up to spec , the 50 year old curtains will probably go but after washing they came up ok

And whats more both are Viscount's and both are towed by Ford's does not get better than that Mustang's is the big flash one with a V8 tug ours is the poverty pack with the old '61 Zephyr 6 although this could change as I have my eye on a lovely star model Cusso

Just for the record , the Mustang is not yet towing. Your van is incredible, there would be few like it on the road, love that key.

All 7 keys and escutcheons are now like that as are all the brass and pearl shell handles you have set a high standard I draw the line at the window frames though Re the 'stang had a mate visit the other day with his brand new "Snake" 750hp job and yes it has a tow bar fitted

What a beauty!! and love the Zephyr as well, it remains me my boss back in 1971, he used to have the same combo as yours and in 1977 he sold the Zephyr and got a Cortina 6 cylinder. No class in that car compared with the old one. I should start looking for an old Falcon to tow my 1977 Franklin, a XM coupe will do the trick

Today we did the first run with the new tyres we have changed the 185/80x13" white wall Sumitomo's for 175R13 8ply LT radials and a set of Atlas whitewalls it has stopped the terrible tow and made everything good the other tyres were on the standard 4 1/2" rims which were too small so the rims walked within the tyre balloon , so looks ok all matching car and van run the same tyres and white walls now

Maximum bling looking very right! Great choice visually and bonus better tow behavior.

Very nice!!!!! Your lightening flash on the van seems to be a very good match to the Zephyr (just chance)?
Incredible how we put up with bias belted tyres having less tread than the width of the wheel!!

Yes pure chance but a nice one I reckon we were meant to buy the van and having the same tyres and white walls on both sort of lifts the rig pity the van wheels are holden otherwise they would be interchangeable all round if ford I spose I had better get to and make it all shiny before Evan's Head , gotta keep up with the neighbours

To neat, need a good splash of death insects on the front of the van. It is a show piece mate, something to be proud of.
