Finally getting around to continuing the repairs on our 1972 14"6" Regent, both rear windows are now replaced and re-sealed (no leaks despite fairly heavy rain recently). Front windows are re-sealed as well, again no leaks. Was fortunate enough to find a small Electrolux 3-way fridge (missing its shelves) which is awaiting installation when the motivation I ordered arrives. Had to remove both 'front' seats to deal with a small amount of rot in the 3-ply front lining panel, found the inevitable extra rot which is fortunately minimal, so should bea relatively straightforward repair. With Winter coming on fast I'll be restricted to working on the interior and hopefully completing it by Spring. Of concern is the hatch, moulded plastic with a couple of small holes in it, plus poor sealing around the edge. Some evidence of rot in the timber around the hatch opening, is this common? How easy is it to replace? What kind of timber is the most suitable? And, are repro hatch covers available anywhere for this model Franklin?
