Hi everyone,
So we are kinda new to this game. We have just purchased a suspected 1978-1979 Millard caravan. The internals have been completely gutted and we are starting to do it up to eventually be used as a food van.
We are slowly figuring out how this all works, and might need a little help along the way.
So, our first question is about the windows (picture attached) Some of them are broken and we need to replace them, we already have the glass cut to size that the old owner threw in when we brought it.
I read that we will need to reseal them once we replace the glass..
Any tips?

Hi Samcg A firm called caravans plus have the seals you will need. Window Seal link
Its a trial & error, I took one window to a glazier then copied his style, also was able to buy the seal locally once I knew what I wanted. Caravans plus usually send a set of samples seals. Good Luck Brent PS: if you really want a lot of info see here essentially there are two schools of thought here, seal a window frame in with Mastic & it can be removed easily, seal it with Silicone & you have a fight on your hands if it has to be removed. All the info is here in members rebuilds "Hall of Fame".
