Hi joe .. I have a 1973 Capricorn ... There is a thread in the hall of fame ... Although I haven't posted much recently as I haven't done any work on it.

I have just purchased a capricorn caravan 6.1 meters in length inc drawbar needs the roof attended to as i have found a leak in the poptop roof been quoted around $800 to $1,000 to replace inside roof and reseal it,it tows extremely well i dont no wat year it is as it has nothing on the drawbar all i no it has stickers near the door saying 323 insulated i dont no if that means anything any info from other members would be great

Just bought a Capricorn caravan. I think somewhere between 17 and 20ft. Retro fitted shower cubicle in the back. Its 85 registered but a frame says 77 and the van frame says something else.
Van layout: front has a L bench seat, kitchen on R hand side, concertina door separating the bedroom from the dining,kitchen area. Double bed - side facing on L hand side. Cupboards and a small sink at rear of van.

Recently fitted with LED lights all round
I found electric brakes underneath that weren't wired up at all so I rewired and now they work!
Single axle.

Wondering if anyone has any idea what model this van was and where i could find more info?

The trick to find a build date is to check the welded chassis number against the data bases posted.
