hi
i have just taken on a huge project being a single mum and studying when i couldn't miss an opportunity to buy an old millard caravan that came up for sale recently!
can some one help me identify it with the chassis number M36149 ... or point me in the direction of where i can research to find out the date of van?
also does any one have any comments or suggestions to replacing the seals and cleaning the windows. i am renovating the van into a bedroom as it will be stored in a shed as our home!
tips and advice on where to start with an old gutted van would be appreciated - i only want to a very basic job!
cheers

Hi TWB Well you like to be kept busy. If you van is going to be under cover & never on the road you are half way there. The structure will scarcely be affected by pulling out the old furniture, you don't need, with the extra space you will be able to move in ready made bedroom items and free stand them. Just paint it up to a happy place. NOW... if you plan towing , then forget all of above,to renovate an old van takes ,time, lots of time, money & a leaning curve, the latter I'm sure you have already. Re the chassis number, its a good idea to post some images (re photobucket or similar) Hughdeni our resident identifier will be along soon. Good Luck Photobucket

Yeah, Caravan furniture can be a pain as they construct the caravan from the inside out. So Mustangs right it just depends how you want to use it.
On another note, would love to see some photos?
