 Has anyone ever had to replace a missing hatch flap ? It was missing when we bought the van. I reckon I may bend up a piece of sheetmetal and seal it up permanently |

Cheers mate, I'll have a look... I did cheat with my hatch.... It wasn't leaking so I decided to just grind back the old mastic (rock hard ) from around the edges then smeared the new stuff around. Time will tell if it works out....

I replaced all my hatch flaps with new alloy 70mm x 50mm & heaps of silicon. If your not too far you can have the original ones from my van ---- i didnt have the heart to throw them out. There is nothing wrong with them i just altered the hole size & they nolonger fit. I can take some photos if you are interested. Ted |

Abit too far up the road ( I'm near Geelong Vic). Managed to buy a complete hatch on ebay, so I'll get the flap from that.
