Hi all, I am posting the following information for Austin125 from the Vintage Caravans forum: Through my Vintage Caravan Hire I get numerous calls from across Australia and this one is from Sydney. They are looking for 5 x period Caravans to use as background dressing for a new cooking series on Seven Network. Ideally these should be from the 60's-80's periods. They do not want pre-60's vans. Filming is between 3 and 14 September on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. They are interested in seeing pictures of the different types/styles as soon as possible. Here's your chance for your vintage or classic van to strut it's stuff and become a celebrity caravan... If you live in the Sydney area (or close enough to get there) and are interested in your van being involved in this project, please send me a PM (personal message) with the details of your van and phone number. I will then pass your details on to Austin125 who can tell you more. Don Ricardo

You need to edumacate them about the 1969 cut off date to hone in exactly what they are after as they are considering a decade of vintage vans after all...

Hi Atefooterz,
Thanks for the reply. I understand that the producers are quite clear about wanting a van from the 60's to the 80's - nothing prior to that, and I think that they're after a classic aluminium van, although one of the later fibreglasses might suit.
The '1969 divide' may be important (or not) to us, but it's not in the thinking of the folks making the series. I guess they're after a particular vibe?

Don Ricardo Cheers Don, i was thinking the toasters V the tear drops, in general looks, for the back drop. Basic classic V vintage visual stereotype.
