While another member here suggested getting a part 3d Printed, this got me thinking, if I can obtain a window part (any condition) I could possibly get a window lock made this way. So if any member has a window lock to suit a 1977 Viscount, wind out, please come forward. Vincent has 13 windows and every lock has been removed, previously to us buying it??? PS: The Caravans Plus style do not fit.

Great idea, this 3d technology scares me but once I sort my roadworthy and rego, I will send you one. I need the locks I have to pass the roadworthy I think, I am guessing in QLD the windows need to have a lock and be able to lock to pass a roadworthy?

When I did my rego, the previous owners had installed roofing tech screws for window locks, they certainly didn,t come loose. I have now opted for turn buttons in each corner. The winding mechanism keeps them resonably firm as well.
There was not one lock still attatched on all 11 frames.
The 3D caper has vanished...its $1300 just to get the pattern digitised??

$1300? Hmm I would like to keep the van original but . . . slipping into Bunnings or Mitre 10 now to look at turn buttons - hopefully on the road and regod next week ready for maiden trip to Mission Beach. Thanks Mustang
