Hello fellow classic vanners, Just wanted to share a recent purchase to make life a little easier when holidaying in your van. I recently purchased for under $100 with free postage a mains pressure water tap that also incorporates instant hot water from ebay. It is the cylinder type with a mixer and chrome outlet fawcet, some are all Chrome and mine is white casing and Chrome, anyway it came with a 10 amp plug and circuit preaker to the plug also, Im pretty sure made in China . Anyhow I rigged it up by removing the old original cold only mains pressure tap, screwed in and connected up fine to my Viscount G.T, I have used extension cord from 15 amp to run to a power pont in the wardrobe that is there for the fridge. I have tried it, all good, although uses 12 amps so not probably going to work with the micro or blender running at the same time. But it produced hot water in seconds and plenty there, the slower the rate the hotter apparently, but it seems plenty hot on the faster setting too, prob a bit cooler. enough for dishes all the same, and no need to boil the kettle. I have also purchased a shurflow water pressure reducer that caps mains pressure inlet to 50 PSI, to protect it from blowing apart. The water heater unit can can be found by serching on ebay. 'instant hot water tap'. many different models, but some didnt seem to have under sink electrical cord to conceal the wiring or the circuit breaker, I think you could also plug it in at one of the power points located near the sink if you have one. I will get to try this out well over Christmas new year when I take the van away to Kingscliff.. Happy travels everyone.

I can also recommend, we had a special edition Coromal & it came as standard. Good idea to keep the pressure down.
