Hi Guys well after so many dramas with my rear window my next thought is to make a new one, so can some one tell me where i could buy the framing to do this, not sure on what profile i would use thats why im after your thoughts, if any one has made one i would love to talk to you about it ive plastered the old window frame and every joint and water still got past the frame of the old one, there was enough sika on the frame to hold up a ship Or if any one that lives around me, MARYBOROUGH QLD, that would like to offer some help, by all means, thanks Regards Peter

Hooley Dooley!! What about ringing around your local repairers? They might have an old one laying around? Also might have a fixed one if you don't need it to open. I will check out my local guys for you. Cheers hughdeani

Hey Peter,
I saw a post on here somewhere about a caravan parts place that is supposed to be the best in the world and is located in Newcastle or near there.
Apparently - the lady who runs it is a wealth of knowledge and they have everything you can think of in the way of old caravan spares.
Not sure where it is on here but it is on here somewhere.
Cheers, Des

If you only need a fixed window you may be able to get a windscreen rubber and rubber a piece of glass/perspex, My 1965 Ambassador had the rear window installed this way.

No Sorry, Van long gone, all you need to do is form Flange and a windscreen Rubber to suit the Glass/Perspex and the Flange. Check on this forum I remember someone replacing a fixed rear window in an old Viscount, and check the Vintage Caravan Forum : vintagecaravans.proboards.com as the article may have been on that forum. Sorry for no replying quicker but happily I am busy using up some of my kids inheritance. Link: www.autorubbers.com.au/glazing_sections.htmRubber Sections: Use Rubber VV203c or VV203 & VV203b , other Rubbers at the bottom of the page (VV1070 & VV1070b use Link) without the wedge however I think the wedge type would seal better, but a bit more effort to fit, Just don't make the corner radii too tight. Simple to fit place rubber on glass/perspex Joining at top with Rubber Contact Cement, then use a piece of string to pull the rubber over the flange and seal using a flexible windscreen sealant. This a local supplier (Melbourne) however I have not used them, there is also other local suppliers. Rattles
