G'day Al, I'd reckon that that pic was taken at the Mildura Nationals last year. The green car in the background looks like it belongs to Margie2.
Cheers Bob and Jacqui ;D

Thanks Shane.. I’m happy you found it interesting..
You’re right.. Old cars – trams – trains – trucks – tractors – machinery - historic towns, bridges and old buildings around the country..
You’d need two lifetimes to see it all.

Ok I guess I just add a pic. This was taken about 1990 so I'm not sure what it looks like now but if you have been there you will know.

Judging by the height of the 'jetties' above water, I'm thinking it must be somewhere where the tide differences are pretty significant. Somewhere up the north coast of Qld maybe? Rockhampton region? Hmmm...the only thing I recognise in the photo is the rope in the bottom right hand corner. Got some like that in the shed. Nup...still no idea... cheers, Al.

Hi Jim, It's not in Vic.
Al, you need to be thinking MUCH closer to home (if your location is current)

Western port bay's tide moves significantly but to my knowledge there is no where with that sort of rocks.
Its NSW somewhere...
Hate to walk on those planks.

Ah ha! Now I understand. Not being a fisho, I've never ventured to that part of our local area much, although I did work at the local Steelworks for 36 years, which is way to the left of this photo. Would I be right in saying it is the eastern breakwall of the outer harbour at Port Kembla? And if so, you are correct in saying it doesn't look like that now 20 years later. No boats or jetties on that side anymore. cheers, Al.

Ok, time to search through the family albums for something... Apologies to those who live in the western half of OZ. Haven't ventured that far yet, so this offering is in the eastern half. Where might this be??

Al..
It’s surely one of the ski run lifts.
If not the Kossy one, how about Mt Buller in Victoria?

Hi there
Is it the William Ricketts sanctuary? I don't remember a cable car but I do remember cool carvings poking out of rocks and trees...
Cheers Seeshell

Yep, it is in NSW. Somewhere where you probably wouldn't think a cable car would be found. Seeshell is on the right track with the theme, not the location. I have one more photo to post, but if I posted that first it would have been too obvious. Teasing it out a bit... cheers, Al.
