Ravenshoe, right? I think the claim to fame was being the highest town in QLD, and it was also a close trip from there out to a big waterfall too I think - long time since we visited there... Cheers Seeshell

G'day seeshell, That's a coincidence! Today's news reports say thieves emptied the wishing well of all the coins thrown in over the last eight years. The park managers says the value could easily be up around the $15,000 mark. Never been to this place myself... ...so I don't know where it is... cheers, Al.

That would be the kids playground at Fairy Park in Anakie. The one with the empty wishing well!
Yeah I know, spot the father with young girls!

Hi there Kylarama Right you are - I have pictures of myself there as a child with my Nanna, and now pictures of my own mum and daughter, in front of the same weird monkey statues! Crap-tacular, and as you say, well known to those of us with kids under 10 in Victoria. I do have my suspicions that Al might have known and piked out on naming the location, but you are the winner! So your turn to load up a picture and challenge us all... Cheers Seeshell

Correct.
Algebuckina bridge on the old Ghan, just out of Oodnadatta. Crosses the Neales river. I think it still is the longest span bridge in Australia, over 1/2km long.

And a nice shot too, I like the shadows of the bridge. Well done!

Thanks, Pic was taken with a basic point and shoot 3.2meg Cannon. I've got some really good ones taken with a 35mm SLR, but none are scanned. This was sitting down next to the bridge Bonus points if anyone can guess the make and model.

ALERT ALERT ALERT! We have a snorter on our hands! ;D ;D ;D When my wife laughs she often snorts. It makes me laugh so hard I nearly die, esp when it's in public. Good onya Seeshell! Now, to the pic. Hmmm, looks familiar but I can't quite get it. Can we have a hint, like is it in WA?
