Somewhere out around Coober Pedy then. Not a place I've spent a lot of time, mostly just rolling through in a truck.
I did spend a bit of time out at Peculiar Knob, the next bit of high ground over from Prominent Hill. The surveyor who did the place names was obviously a more literal than imaginative fellow.

Getting very close now sean. I think I might work with a descendant of that surveyor (also a very literal fellow). Although I'm an engineer, and we're trained not to be too imaginative.  |

More clues are due, good to see this thread still active , thank you planner. Mustang, the thread is only just active. Can't give to many more clues without road names. It's near Coober Pedy, and theres not that many tourist spots at Coober Pedy after you've seen the opal mines.  |
