Looks like a Murray!!! (One high side ,the other flat? Mustang's on to it, just need to determine which bridge I'm crossing. Also, it is THE Murray (Vic/NSW, then into SA), one of 3 named as such, that I know of, in Australia. There is streetview available for this crossing, that should be enough clues Planner

Gday guys would this be the new Blanchetown bridge in SA ? Cheers Andy Yes it would, although I've never seen the old Blanchetown bridge. Solved without too many clues being given. Over to you Andy to put up a pic.

Thanks Planner The old bridge is still there (if you had of looked to the other side of the new bridge ,they stand side by side as the old one cant be demolished due to the depth of the channel and the close proximity to Lock 1 ) This tree was lived in by an early pioneering family and is positioned on the outskirts of the town (which town ? ) Cheers Andy

The old bridge is still there (if you had of looked to the other side of the new bridge Couldn't look around too much. There was a nasty north wind blowing on the day. We nearly traveled sideways across that bridge and the Kingston Bridge (SWMBO took pic from passenger seat)

That tree is in the Barossa Valley - Springton. Was through there earlier this year with the old van on the back of the 101. The Barossa is one of my favourite places to visit.

Gday Snoops Yep spot on mate and it is a beautiful part of Australia (I used to live in the next town at Mount Pleasant about 8 kms away but after 20 years of 9 months of winter every year I finally moved up the road a tad to a warmer spot This area is actually classified as the Northern Adelaide Hills however you are right in saying it is part of the Barossa council area) Anyway over to you Cheers Andy

Cool, I'm away from my pics at the moment - travelling for a few days for work, so you will either have to wait until the weekend, or someone else can have a go.

Ok, lets try this one. No hints to start with - I'm sure others here may have been here. This is one from a trip a couple of years back - turns out I have actually been to some cool places when I looked...

Kanyaka homestead ruins Flinders ranges SA?

No, not the Flinders Ranges either. Time for a clue. It's between Peterbourough and Broken Hill, about 30 odd KM off the main road. This ruin is all that is left of a town that was there. There are plenty of other signs that the town was there but these are the last walls standing - I think it may have been the only stone structure in the town and it was certainly the most important building in town. It's well worth turning off the highway for - a great little spot to have lunch. It's up a dirt road, but well made IIRC.

Cool. It's about 30 odd KM off the blacktop - the turn off is North at a town about 1/3 of the way between Peterbourough and Broken Hill on the A32 if your heading to Broken Hill. See how you go with that. If you pick the right town and Google 'ruins near xxxx' you will find them.

Winner, winner chicken dinner! Yep, the Waukaringa ruins just north of Yunta. For the intrepid, the road then runs from Waukaringa up through Arkaroola then through to Innaminka if you're keen - never done it, but it obviously a 4WD, dry weather road. They are the ruins of the old pub when the area was in the gold rush. A great place to spend a couple of hours over lunch, or even overnight - camping is permitted around the ruins site, which is quite large overall, but the surrounding area is private property. We headed from there south through to.... Well, I might keep that one up my sleeve for next time.... Your turn Bob.
