Hey Bob & Jacqui Fasinates me Possum Park. We first came accross it 6 or so years ago, when we were doing a "tour of duty" at Dalby. We took our standard weeks break, after six at the coal face and headed west. Great find. We visited again around early March last year on our way from Goondiwindi to Undara Lava Tubes. Still a great place to visit. There are the usual pikkies some where in our blog. We were offered a job there, however we were committed to a gig at the Lava Tooooobes....but maybe next time. Is it my turn again? Cheers & beers vkgreenie

G'day VKgreenie, We would agree with your comments about Possum Park. Well kept secret for years. Fasinating history to yhe place and most Aussies would not be aware of it. You were there around the same time as we discovered the place. Loved the way it was set out for the drive through stop over. Here's a pic of the garden near a small dam half way around the curcuit. The rocks around the gardens are petrefied logs When we left there we went up to Theodore and camped near the river. We left there to cut across to Cracow and found a wee bit of mud. It was a great trip as we went on to Cania Gorge/Baffle Creek and Hervey Bay. Cheers Bob and Jacqui

Howdy Bobandjacqui,
Great pics there Bob, looks like you are really enjoying the open ( if a bit muddy ) road.
I was wondering what the racket was here,
It's the Olympic screaming... Clean Me Clean Me ;D ;D ;D

G'day Jim, Yes it was muddy ;D ;D ;D black mud one side of Cracow then red mud the other . Made it into Monto and stopped at the saleyards and washed it all off where they wash the cattle trucks down. Jacqui on the hose and me on the broom. Still have some of the red stuff stuck to the exhaust of the Hilux. Cheers Bob and Jacqui

Great picture there Bob, I'm afraid you'll have to give this Sand Groper a bit of a clue where it was taken, ;D Wouldn't mind betting it's in Q.L.D. some-where. Withdrawal is right, flamin cold here, and I can't say your picture has made it any warmer ;D ;D ;D cheers kiwijim
