When I removed the lining I found several of these little aluminium straps wrapped around the frame. Can any member explain their presence? They seem to be randomly placed? they are loose without any adhesive attatched.

If they are at lean height they may be there to stop the cladding from buckling when leaned on.

The little tabs were used to support the top side sheets so they could align and support the sheet when they were fixing it in place
