We recently purchased an old 1978 Viscount Supreme Caravan which needs some tender loving care. It appears that it had bunks, but they are missing apart form 2 blocks of wood on the wall, each with grooves in them. We are needing to know how the bunks go together and are attached. It would be great if anyone has some photos or could tell us how to attached the bunks.

G'day richchris, and welcome to the forum! Yes it was me who directed you over here from the Vintage forum. If you click on this link it will show you all the threads on the forum relating to Viscount Supremes. Hopefully there's something in amongst that lot that helps you out. Did you end up finding the chassis number? cheers, Al.

G'day richchris, when you say "Date fitted: 4 9 78", what was actually fitted??
Is there no letter in front of the chassis number?
cheers, Al.

I had the same trouble, I have some pics of vans I have searched from the net, too many to post here at once. Can you supply a pic of your layout & I will see what I have that may solve your problem.
Some bunks fold up & some down, mine is a Supreme 77 & the bunk folds down to make a back for the lounge.
(Cant show you at the moment as the whole front is dis-mantled.)
Previous "carpenters" made this a puzzle.
