Hi all, I need some advice on screens for my 1973 Chesney President. The originals would have been the slip on rubber types. Are these still available ? I've looked into the magnetic type but they seem insanely expensive. Any advice will be most appreciated.

Hey there @banjopicker & atefooterz! Here are a couple of links to my repairs on fly screens. I don't know if it these are the same screens but it might help. Tech stuff post: SOLVED: Flycreen repairs - 1978 Viscount poptopMy caravan rebuilt and flyscreen how to: 1978 Viscount Pop Top Refurb - Flyscreen RepairsA couple of things I found about repairing old rubbers is mine seem to have shrunk a bit due to age and some were too hard to get back in. Although worth a shot as it only costs around $3-5 a screen to repair as opposed to $25+ per screen to replace. I'll be heading over to CaravansPlus to replace some (once I work out how to measure the dimensions...lol) as they have replacement Australite Replacement screens

Hi thanks for the suggestions, we're going to try making the screens using magnetic tape, let you know how it goes soon!
