My tow car is a 1999 Holden Monterey (Jackaroo), with auto. trans. It does a great job of towing our 16foot Quest caravan. I did have a bit of trouble early this year, when a hose going to the transmission cooler burst. that has been replaced, and another oil cooler fitted, seems to be fine now.

Hi Scotty,
I have a 2001 Jackaroo SE Auto. It tows our 15' Millard like it had nothing behind, and although a bit thirsty around town, it is not too thirsty when towing.
We love our Jack. They are a very under-rated vehicle.

Hi Bob, we like our Jackaroo, we have towed our van all over South Australia's Riverland, Barossa, Flinders Ranges and Limestone Coast. Through the Victorian gold fields, Great Ocean Road and all over wester Victoria. Like you said Bob, you hardly know you have the van on the back. We love it. Cheers Scotty
