Hi Classic vanners During a little research I have come accross this little piece of info. Pacesetter commenced production late 1972 under the name Modern and changed to Pacesetter in mid 1975. Extract from Glass's Dealer's Guide "Caravan & Campervan Values" Autumn/ winter 1978. Pacesetter Caravans 57 Plateau Road Reservoir. Vic 3073 Cheers boblor

You in Victoria Donna? Not sure about other states but a lot of vans here were registered as 1900 back in the 70ās. As suggested, post some pics and Iām sure the brains trust here will be able to shed some light on it.

I all we have a 1984 2 berth van with 2 single beds and a fold over table being a 13 ft pacesetter over the last 3 years we had it done some great trips and gone over some rebuild it had a 3 way Electrolux fridge, upgraded it with a now 2 way gecko, so illuminated the extra weight of dually gas bottle. Ripped the front sink & taps out in space added a day lounge/3rd bed, no sacrificed space as under bed storage & a spot for a portable loo, fitted out extra electrics for solar & battery, portable 350watt solar panel, pullout fold table, so off grid workable, on front space for 2 water 25lt jerry cans water, instead of 60 ltr tank fitted a rear cam ideal for towing now under the 1000kg for a 40 yr old van, can't complain but what's it worth today? Any thoughts

Donna I think it was branded the yellowish from 1979 to later 1980's in that 10 yrs before moving from Reservoir white later replaced yellow now 2024 Viscount seem to have universal parts that fit.
