G'day Guys & Gals, Well I gotta admit that I can't mix paint if I tried to, I decided to give the old Mitz Ute (Old Blue) a new paint job in the hope it would get a better price, so..... I mixed a tin of bright red paint with a little white just to brighten the red a little, heres what happened.......... BEFORE.... . AND AFTERWARDS..... "HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME" Jimmy Boy........ The Cheese & Spice came out just as I give it up as a bad job, Gave a shriek and proclaimed...... "I love it" "you stupid woman"......... it's getting another coat next week, probably a dark red, the Pink will make a good primmer.

, Jim, maybe your wife is trying to give you some kind of hint. Just sell it to a young girl who likes caravanning. The girls will go nuts over it, why waste another coat of paint mate. ;D Cheers, Ross.

, Living up to your usual sense of humour there Chez. Way to go. Can you imagine the Lincolns riding around in the back of that? Cheers, Ross.

Hi Kiwijim
Good thing your retired... ;D
You would never have had the time to do all this painting if you were slaving for a living.... ;D
Cannot see why you would want to paint it BLUE again... ;D

G'day there Bobt, Why would I paint it blue again.............. Well if it's near enough to the same color I don't have to paint inside the doors, around the door frames, and a hundred other Hard-to-get-at-places. Talking of work, I've just come out from crawling under the THOMSON, Now I've gotta rip the bottom panel off, the off-side, all the bottom wooden frame has got rot into it, theres another weeks work. "Hell" ain't classics fun. ;D ;D kiwijim

Well as promised the old Mitz Ute has suffered another paint job, Today she coped a load of Royal Blue Metallic paint, Trouble is, this paint takes a couple of days to dry fully, luckily we have fine dry weather, here in Perth at the moment, Blue skies by day and just enough breeze at night to keep the Dew away. When completely dry in about a week, the whole Ute will have to be buffed to bring out the shine, The family reckon it looks better than that Pink anyway.

, That looks good Jim. Metallic Royal Blue is a good colour, It should sell now that it's painted and back together. Cheers, Ross.

"Flamin Hell" Atog, You should have heard the family go off when I painted the Ute Pink, I would shudder to think what would happen to me ( or mine ) if I was to paint Flames on the sides, I have been getting that sidewards look from the Daughter enough lately, usually followed by the comment....."getting closer to that Oldies home every-day"... Pappy. "AH" retirement..........never had so much fun ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
