So I had the van delivered today. Already problems. I tried to wind it up and it came straight back down again. Now the awning is on the outside of the van. When I wound it the front began to pop up first then the back end a short time later. it was up and I was checking around the van when it came down. Glad I wasn't inside.

Anyone prepared to troubleshoot?

either the winch gave way or a cable broke though the cable braking usually lets just one end drop
