G'day Ross, Well, you've certainly done well for yourself with this van! ;D The Sin Bin Committee had a meeting and decided to delete your penalty, since you've obviously been very busy working on a few things. Once you upload your photos to Photobucket, I can't do anything with them to resize them. You can set your own photo size by reading Reply #1 in this thread: Re-sizing photos for posting on forumLook forward to seeing more photos as you work through the resto. cheers, Al.

, Thank you Al. This one is more attuned to my experience. I get it registered when I've got my Mum back on her feet; she's spent a week in hospital this last week or so, so I'm looking after her as well as working. Doesn't leave much time for anything else at the moment but I've been able to spend a couple of hours working in the van. Hopefully I get it registered in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Cheers, Ross.

Hi Ross You haven't posted on here for a while, hope you still have your Viscount? I would love to see some recent photos, did you get your reno finished?
We are working on a '74 Viscount and would be very interested if you have any advice - what you did that was good, and of course what you did that was bad!!!!!!
regards Jean

:)g'day everyone, I'm new here but have posted in the Viscount Information thread because I couldn't find the new topic button earlier. Doh! this is a great forum and I've already learned how to date my old 1974 Viscount van from the info provided in here. Thanks to all and I know I'll learn a lot more about vans and vanning. I also hope I can share some info with you all. Cheers, Ross.

I like your style. I just LOVE 70's Viscounts. I LOVED renovating and glamping up my viscount Royal and it is so comfy and luxurious to holiday in and a DREAM to tow. I hope you get the right one for you and you enjoy every minute of it.

Hello everyone sounds like you are all having a great time with your 1970's Viscounts. My wife and I recently purchased a 1974 Royal and are in the process of glancing her up. The van was last registered in 1984 and has just sat in storage since then, she is in very good condition everything works just needs some resuscitation to bring her back to life. So far have replaced the rear stability jacks, circuit breakers, carpet, curtains, tow coupling, but looking for some old style holland blinds with the scollop bottoms. The van has really been looked after but there is a little water damage near the rear wrap around but not leaking now, will fix that somehow down the track. Hopefully I get it passed soon for rego and hit the road, check out some of the photos of what it was like and now, my wife just loved the retro feel.

Hi Dennis, You are welcome to start your own caravan thread in "Hall of Fame". There you can post images & discuss your van in your own thread. As most people struggle with Photobucket you might try Tinypic. Tinypic link
