I’ve got myself a late 1970’s Franklin pop-top (X7938) that I’m in the process of restoring. I’ve removed and replaced some of the old internal timber wall supports and the wall lining in the rear, I’ve moved onto removing and cleaning up the aluminium j-rails on the rear. Before I go and reseal them though I have been up on the ladder recently and have noticed just how much of a sag there is at the rear where the scissor lifts are.
Just looking for some ideas and suggestions on how to best reinforce this area without going too crazy and stripping the whole roof off?
