Hi All, About 7 years ago, we rebuilt an old 1961 Harris Caravan that was a Fulchers Caravans advertising tool. We still have the van and have been using it over the past 7 years. We recently purchased a 2019 Jayco Swan, but want to get back to an older van. Just so happened a customer of mine offered me a 1977 Franklin Arrow. It has been sitting next to sale water lake for 15 years, it has some rust in it, the chassis seems to be fine from what I can see, except for the "z"" shape frame under the sandwich panel walls. Is there any way of me getting support back under the walls without pulling the whole van apart, really don't want to go down that road again. I have attached a few pics, showing our original van we did, please some of the chassis showing just surface rust which will be fine, but also showing the rusted out "Z"section. Has anyone had similar issues, how did you go about it? Can the "z" rails be replaced without pulling the van apart completely?
