Was taking a sightseeing tour around the valleys in North East Victoria today - Around the Kiewa valley while staying at a friends place for the weekend and stopped in a small town called Eskdale - because I saw a small coffee van in a front yard. It was a 1974 11’ York in what looked like very good condition - and once I’d got close I realised it certainly was. The owners - an older couple who opened up on the weekends for souls like me looking for a nice cuppa while out and about in the area. They found the van 2 years ago and it had been stored in a garage since the late 70’s - they had to partly disassemble the garage to remove it as a low beam and roller door had been built in front of it blocking it in. It is in truly remarkable original condition, apart from the mods made for the coffee machine which was the removal of the bed and a cupboard. The Chassis is also in great condition and the wheel still wear the factory York hubcaps. As they say, a pic is worth a thousand words so here’s a few:- B45468F0-9510-404B-B26A-606A4F8FA9B0 by Gavin Gregory, on Flickr 002FB371-A41A-4447-9978-D8D4EBD6A75E by Gavin Gregory, on Flickr E7707886-EC8D-4082-9BC7-BD293EB1459B by Gavin Gregory, on Flickr 5B19599C-1F22-4C3A-987D-BF57EF8162F9 by Gavin Gregory, on Flickr CE197E8D-DEAD-40BA-AD1C-111FE0CC34B4 by Gavin Gregory, on Flickr

Yeah, he was most proud of the wheel trims. I bet they’re quite rare these days.
