Workshop for blueslip in SYD - looking for recommendations

Hi All, I’m looking for recommendations on where to get a blue slip done for a vintage caravan in Sydney? We live at Maroubra but happy to travel to other parts of Sydney. Would prefer a place where we don’t get ripped off. Looking at a 16 foot 1976ish Millard at the moment. Also, are the rego / blue slip requirements the same for caravans as for trailers? I went through the list on the Service NSW website to see what’s involved and it looks like they won’t be bothered with what’s inside the van as long as the mechanical part (brakes, lights, wheels, suspension, coupling etc) is fine. Could anyone confirm this?
I would prefer to get the van registered before fixing up the inside so I can park it on the street without having to worry that the council will tow it away as unregistered vehicle.
Input on this and recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

yes in nsw that is correct the proof of ownership with a year of manufactured date on it is easier than trying to prove a date of manufacture without it as old vans don't have a vin plate so s long as brakes work suspension is good chassis isn't rusted that is rust holes broken welds etc good wheels and tyres no sharp edges and all road lights work it should pass rego.

Thanks heaps, according to seller, apart from the lights, the rest is fine, it will be a full gutt and refit so we can just sort some new wires for the lights if needed. Going to look at the van tomorrow and if all goes well, I’ll be a Millard owner by the afternoon
